Perhaps a little-known fact many may know be privy to about myself is that I often catch wind of new apps and trends of the day. But rather than going full-board with Twitter, Facebook, or even Myspace, I have a tendency to just put my toe in to test the water. Let everyone else do the hard work of making these things widely famous. Far be it for me to be "trendy," right?

Well, I fear I may have missed the Skype bus.

I've had the application for almost a year now and I have only begun to ask around about it. "Hey, Molly! Hey, Joe! You guys have the Skype?" I usually get dirty looks. The fact that it sounds like a venereal disease doesn't help, I'm sure.

But now that I'm fairly certain none of my close friends have or actively use Skype, I'm reaching out to you, my little deviants!
